We will be holding our March UCNUG meeting on Wednesday, March 17 at 6:00 P.M. at the NuSkin NOC (350 East 1175 South Provo).
This month our speaker will be Craig Berntson. He will be speaking to us about domain driven design. Here is the description of his talk:
Domain Driven Design is a way to decrease complexity in applications. Many people consider DDD to only be useful for large enterprise applications and overkill for many of the applications we develop today. However, much of DDD can be applied to most of the apps we write. Some concepts will turn your design process on it's head, but others you're already using. This session explains DDD in a clear, concise way so that you can apply DDD in your projects.
And here is what Craig has to say about himself:
Craig Berntson has been a Microsoft MVP since 1996 and has spoken at developer events across the US and in Canada, Germany, and the Czech Republic since 2000. He has written for various magazines and is co-author of “Continuous Integration in .NET”, available from Manning. Craig is an independent developer in Salt Lake City.
